Blackwater Open Farm

Blackwater Open Farm is situated in the coastal village of Blackwater known for its beaches, live music in one of three local pubs, and the well known Blackwater furniture sales.

The Open Farm is a short walk from Ballinaclash beach where the movie Saving Private Ryan was filmed in 1997.

Opening times are 11 am to 6 pm daily for July and August and then 11 am to 5 pm for September & October.

Attractions include a bouncy castle, pedal go-karts, zip line, climbing frame, playground, leprechaun village, fairy garden, an animal trail & a petting zoo with lots of fun to be had both indoor & outdoor.

There is a fabulous restaurant run by co-owner Niamh Morris with menu changes throughout the year but in general, they have soup, toasties, gourmet sandwiches, beef burgers, pizzas & daily specials.
