Donnchadh Doyle recorded his 14th win of the season this afternoon

Donnchadh Doyle recorded his 14th winner of the season at Mainstown point-to-point, outside Carrick-On-Suir, this afternoon; Fameaftertheglory took the second division of the 4yo geldings maiden, the Fame And Glory gelding is owned by the trainer’s brother, Eamon, and ridden by James Walsh. The runner-up here was the Colin Bowe trained Big Shanghai.

Liam Kenny shared the spoils in the Winners Of Two contest with the Liam Gahan owned, Current Mood, in the hands of Brian Lawless, they dead-heated with Thedancingfarrier. The winning Sulamani mare won her maiden last Sunday at Borris.

Mary Doyle’s fine run of form continued, she saddled Doyen La Lutte to claim the opening 4yo Mares Maiden at Tattersalls, in doing so, recorded her 7th win of the season. The winner benefited from her third placing on her debut in Dromahane a month ago.
