Liam Ryan Out For The Rapparees

Liam Ryan watched on from the sideline this evening in Bellefield

We spoke to Padge “Skinner” Walsh this evening at the Rapparees training session in Bellefield.

Drawn in the same group as Naomh Eanna and the Shelmaliers, their opening game is against the Shels in Chadwicks Wexford Park in eleven days time.

Last year they lost out to St Anne’s by two goals at the semi-final stage, on a scoreline of 2-14 to 0-14.

Wexford inter-county player, Liam Ryan, has broken a bone in his foot and will not be available for the Pettitt’s Club Championship, he will be a huge loss for the Enniscorthy side.

Padge is joined by Adrian Fenlon, Declan Ruth, Gareth Kavanagh, and Brian Kehoe to make up the five-man selector team for the town side.

We caught up with Padge at training this evening.
