Horan Rules Out Gaa Action Anytime Soon

On last night’s “Sunday Game” GAA president John Horan, virtually ruled out the return of GAA action anytime soon.

“If social distancing is a priority to deal with this pandemic, I don’t know how we can play a contact sport. That is what Gaelic games is. It is a contact sport.”

Basically, we need to see a vaccine or a treatment, most health experts think a vaccine is likely to become available by mid-2021, about 12-18, however it is possible they may not find one at all, so how soon will an effective treatment be found, what works on one patient may not work on another?

Health Minister, Simon Harris said,

“Some degree of social distancing will likely remain ‘part of life’ until a COVID-19 vaccine or treatment is developed.”
