Enniscorthy & Gorey Are Leinster Champions

The 2019/20 Hockey season was deemed to have finished due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic. At the direction of Hockey Ireland, the provinces used a percentage equalisation method to determine league positions.

Today, Leinster Hockey has confirmed the final placings for the Leinster League using the percentage equalisation method. It should be noted that there will be no playoff matches to determine league placings for the 2020/21 season. Clubs should be aware that placings on this table do not indicate promotion/relegation for the 2020-21 season, this will be determined when there is more certainty.

Enniscorthy L1 take the Division 6 title, with Gorey L1 winning Division 10, and Wexford L1 took joint runners-up in Division 4.

The Enniscorthy M1 team took third place in Division 4 of the Mens League.

Planning for the new season will be undertaken in July at the earliest.
