Garda Bravery Rescues Man from Wexford Harbour

A member of An Garda Síochána swam 300 metres from Paul Quay in Wexford town on Saturday night to rescue a male who was seen entering the water at approximately 11pm.

According to a Garda statement,

“No injuries were sustained and the man was cared for by medical personnel.”

“We wish to thank, members of the public, the Irish Coast Guard, the RNLI and the HSE for their assistance in ensuring no loss of life occurred.”
