Oulart duo take over in Oylegate

It may well be the offseason for the GAA throughout the county but there is certainly lots of activity on the club scene.

Colin Sunderland and Stephen Doyle have been appointed by Oyegate-Glenbrien to take charge of their intermediate hurling team for next season.

Stephen Doyle is a first cousin of Oylegate marksman Podge Doran

The Oulart duo will be looking to restore senior status to the Oylegate club following their relegation play-off loss to the Faythe Harriers only a few weeks ago, this year’s drop-off in form came as a result of a series of injuries, it should be noted that they came close to making the senior final in 2018, only losing out to Naomh Eanna at the semi-final stage.
