Campile man in “Goal Of Season” in the States

Campile man, Mikie Rowe, is plying his trade as a professional soccer player in the USA with Tormenta FC, in Georgia.

His free-kick won the August goal of the month in the USL, that goal is currently in the running for “the goal of the season” and there are still a few hours to vote for him in that competition, so click on the link below to to see his goal and give him your number one.

The 23yo played underage soccer with Campile until he was 17, he went on to win a Youth League title and won an All Ireland title with Wexford Youths, also getting to the final of the Youth Inter League. He moved to Waterford United in 2014 and the team went on to come second in the League of Ireland at under 19 level.

A former Horeswood NS and Good Counsel College student, he made his senior League of Ireland debut against Longford Town in 2014, scoring his first goal against Shelbourne FC.
