Members of Wexford’s 2019 senior hurling team will once again represent their county when they line out in Citi Field Stadium, New York to participate in the Super 11s Hurling Classic next Saturday.

Not only will the Purple and Gold of Wexford proudly grace the well-known baseball park, but the Wexford jersey will be emblazoned on the back with the “Visit Wexford” logo as the boys of Wexford do their part to promote Wexford, the cornerstone of Ireland’s Ancient East, on the New York stage.

Wexford County Council and Visit Wexford are delighted with the prospect of promoting Wexford to the US audience in this unique way and are indebted to Wexford GAA for affording them this wonderful opportunity.
