Tullaroan native appointed to referee county final

Tullaroan native, Dan Crosby, has been appointed to officiate at this year’s Pettitt’s Senior Hurling Championship final between St Martin’s and St Anne’s on Sunday week.

Dan played hurling with his home club until moving to Dublin, now residing in Kilmore for the last 20 years with his wife Elaine, they have four children, he got involved with under-age with the Kilmore club, joined the referee ranks seven or eight years ago, and has been refereeing senior games for the last 4 years.

He took charge of last year’s Intermediate A Hurling Final, as well as the U-20 Hurling County Final.

Dan told Wexford Today, “I’m looking forward to my first senior county final, it’s my All-Ireland final.”

The linesmen for the final are Justin Heffernan, Brian O’Leary, his umpires will be, Cavan native, Fintan O’Reilly, a national senior football referee for Wexford, Paul Miskella, Sean Fanning, and Stephen Connolly.
