National champion point-to-point rider Barry O’Neill had a day to remember at Castletown-Geoghegan, Co. Westmeath, today, where he rode three winners for his retained stable and added a dead-heat to make it four victories.

National champion handler Colin Bowe provided O’Neill with three winners – Mr Josiey Wales by three lengths in the maiden race for four year olds; Pennyforapound by five lengths in the Winner of Two, and Do Your Job by five lengths in the maiden race for five and six year old geldings.

And O’Neill took the mount of Pyrios, trained by David Christie, who dead-heated in the ‘older maidens’ race
