Three Wexford girls start for Leinster this afternoon

Three Wexford girls have been named in the today’s staring side for the Leinster Rugby U18 Girls in today’s Interprovincial Series against Munster in St Mary’s College RFC (KO 2.45pm).

Leinster beat Munster in the final round of the round-robin phase, coming away from Irish Independent Park with a 22-10 victory. Enniscorthy’s, Katie Whelan, scrum-half, scored two outstanding tries that day and she retains the number nine shirt this afternoon.

Aoife Wafer, Enniscorthy, and Kathryn Dempsey are also named in the starting fifteen.
