Saturday racing ‘over the jumps’ at Bettyvile Park

Seventy-five horses  have been declared for Saturday’s seven-race card at Bettyville Park which gets under way at 2 pm. Good ground conditions are forecast as the track has been subjected to a controlled watering programme.

TOMORROW’S RACES AT WEXFORD ARE AS FOLLOWS; 2 pm; The Adare Manor Opportunity Maiden Hurdle of €13,500. About 2 miles (14 declared).
2.35 pm; The Garry Flood Landscaping Handicap Hurdle of €12,500. (Rated 80-109). About 2 miles, 4 furlongs. (13).
3.10 pm; The Menapia Motors Renault Opportunity Handicap Hurdle of €10,500 (Rated 80-95). About 2 miles, 4 furlongs (14).
3.45 pm; The M2 Construction Mares Maiden Hurdle of €11,500. About 3 miles. (12)
4.20 pm; The Audrey McGrath Memorial Novice Steeplechase of €20,000. About 2 miles, 4 furlongs (5).

4.55 pm; The Brendan Cullimore Electrical Contractor Opportunity Handicap Steeplechase. About 2 miles (8).
5.30 pm; The Dan Byrne Memorial Handicap Steeplechase of €11,500. (Rated 0 – 102) About 3 miles, 1 furlong, 50 yards. (9).

Track management are confident of strong Saturday afternoon support and the standard of racing will be keen. Admission is €15; OAP/Students €10; under 16 are free. Special offers and group rates are also available.
