Dan Walsh spoke to Clodagh Davis, from Naturally Cordial, at the recent Rockin Food Festival in Enniscorthy.
Naturally Cordial is the brainchild of Clodagh Davis, it was started in May 2013 when she was made redundant from her job. She had a cordial stall at a school country market the previous year, and the seed was sown at that time.
Naturally Cordial is made from whole fruit to a traditional recipe, the fruit is sourced from neighbours and friends, along with organic citrus fruit, to ensure the cordials are bursting with flavour. Available in 10 different flavours, the award-winning cordials are not your run-of-the-mill squash, they’re 100% natural, with no artificial sweeteners, flavourings or enhancers. They’re made fresh the kitchen, never from concentrate, all that is added are three simple ingredients – water, sugar and a small quantity of citric acid.
