Master Jack Brown runner-up in All-Ireland final

Julie Radden’s, Master Jack Brown, took the runner-up position, in the 3yo All-Ireland Championship, at the 70th annual Bannow Rathangan Show on Thursday.

The Caim woman is no stranger to success in the show ring, her 3yo Kings Master gelding, is out of the Barnaby Flight mare, Ballylangadon Kate, and was bred by Derek Cope in Kildare.

The €6,000 class went to the Michael & Rachel Lyons owned, Kilmastulla Newmarket Knight, the Tipperary gelding is by Newmarket Venture out of, the Presenting mare, Ballymacs Present, and was bred by Brian Daly, Scarteen Stud. The dual winning point-to-point dam ran to a mark of 89 over hurdles, she won her 5yo mares maiden in Ballydurn in Waterford, and her winners race in Tinahely.

The leading filly was won by the John Roche’s, Assagart Harmony, the Foulksmills home bred filly is by Coroner out of the Flagmount King mare, Assagart Saviour.
