Grand evening for the Wexford races

Top class jump racing action returns to Bettyville Park this evening and with a large entry of 107 runners, track management has decided to run the Loch Garman Maiden Hurdle for mares in two divisions, making it an eight-race card with the first off at 5.30 pm.
The main sponsor is BoyleSports who are associated with four races, while the Calor Gas Handicap Hurdle is a very competitive handicap over two miles, and the richest race is the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Chase.
There is a total prize-fund of €97,000 and the going is described as “good” and has been watered during the week.
5.30 pm; Loch Garman (Mares) Maiden Hurdle (Division 1) of €11,000. 2 miles 4 furlongs. 14 runners.
6 pm; Loch Garman (Mares) Maiden Hurdle (Division 2) of €11,000. 2 miles 4 furlongs. 14 runners.
6.30 pm; BoyleSports Novice Hurdle of €13,000, 2 miles. 11 runners.
7 pm; Calor Gas Handicap Hurdle of €12,500, 2 miles, 14 runners.
7.30 pm; BoyleSports Beginners Chase of €12,500, 2 miles. 14 runners
8 pm; Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Chase of €15,000, 2 miles 4 furlongs. 10 runners.
8.30 pm; BoyleSports Handicap Chase of €11,500, 3 miles 1 furlong 70 yards. 16 runners.
9 pm; BoyleSports INH Flat Race of €10,500, 2 miles. 14 runners.
The organisers are confident of good mid-week support and standard of racing will be keen.
