Wexford horses qualify for YES final in Dublin

The picturesque Forth Mountain, located close to Barntown, owned by James O’Connor, hosted the second leg of Young Event Horse Series on Tuesday.

Jason Higgins qualified another horse for the YES final for this year’s Dublin Horse Show, Inspector Harry (ISH), a 4yo gelding, by Harlequin du Carel (SF), was purchased as a 3yo from Seamus Drea. Alice Martin Jones, took the mount on the day, originally from Shropshire, in the UK, she is based with Jason, in Davidstown, for the last two years.

David Furlong’s, Thistletown Oldrock Cloe (ISH), a mare by the thoroughbred stallion, Pointilliste, out of a Master Imp, also qualified in the 4yo section to book her ticket for this year’s Dublin Horse Show.

Greenhall Grainuaile (ISH), bred over the border, in Tinahely, County Wicklow, ridden by Sarah Ennis, booked their Dublin spot in the 5yo section, earlier this year she won the Stepping Stones League at Wexford Equestrian.
