Ann and Alyson are Dublin bound

Ann Lambert and Alyson Keane qualified at Ballinamona on Saturday

Ann Lambert and Alyson Keane qualified for the Amateur Showjumping class for this year’s Dublin Horse at Ballinamona Equestrian Centre on Sarurday afternoon. They took fourth and fifth place in a very competitive class of 140 combinations.

Ann partnered Killinick Bouncer, an approved, 15yo Irish Draught stallion, by Grange Bouncer, out of the Flagmount King mare Eileen Dun, he is no stranger to success in the Dublin Horse Show, he won the Irish Draught Performance in 2015. Bred in County Waterford by Leslee Asbury of Pennsylvania, he was purchased by the Ann’s father, Jack Lambert, as a yearling.

Alyson Keane rode Ahare Oylmpic Flemmencio, a 7yo mare by Je T’Aime Flamenco, out of the Olympic Lux mare, Ahare Olympic Clover.

Ann is a member of the Carne Riding Club team, along with Christine Keymer, Tina Mann, Breda Rowe, and Christine Kavanagh; they booked their Dublin tickets last week at the riding club team qualifier.
