Wexford ran out convincing 15 point winners in their Leinster Championshiip clash against Carlow on Saturday evening in Inovate Wexford Park.
The home side had a dream start; two quick points and a Rory O’Connor goal put Carlow on the back foot from the start, but fair dues to the visitors, they settled down and took the game to the hot favourites, at the break they only trailed by 2 points, 1-10 to 0-11.
Fitzgerald’s team talk certainly did the trick, they looked a much improved team in the second half and they ran out convincing winners.
The result gaurantees a sell out crowd next Saturday night in Innovate Wexford Park against Kilkenny.
