Quality card for Wednesday races at Wexford

Ground conditions are forecast as ‘good’ ahead of tomorrows seven-race card at Bettyville Park with 75 runners chasing a total prize pot of €82,000.
Could be some scattered showers with the highest temperature coming in at 14 degrees Celsius.
The richest race is the Barrow Novice Chase with €15,000 up for grabs and although only five of the 11 entries will face the starter it is a quality field.
THE CARD IS AS FOLLOWS;
2.10 pm; Mount Leinster Maiden Hurdle of €11,000. Distance; 2 miles (14 runners).
2.45 pm; Three Rocks Mares Maiden Hurdle of €11,000. Distance; 2 miles 4 furlongs (13 runners).
3.20 pm; Sliabh Coilte Handicap Hurdle (80-95) of €10,000. Distance; 2 miles 4 furlongs (13 runners).
3.50 pm; Slaney Maiden Hurdle of €11,000. Distance; 3 miles. (13 runners).
4.20 pm; Barrow Novice Chase of €15,000. Distance; 2 miles 4 furlongs. (5 runners).
4.50 pm; Hook Head Handicap Chase of €12,000. Distance; 2 miles 4 furlongs (8 runners).
5.20 pm; Tuskar Handicap Chase of €12,000. Distance; 3 miles 1 furlong. (8 runners).
The organisers are confident of good mid-week support and standard of racing should be keen.
Admission is €15; OAP/Students €10; under 16 are free. Special offers and group rates are also available.
