Wexford Youths 6

Wexford Youths got their season back on track as they put six goals by Limerick at the Markets Field on Sunday afternoon.

The league champions certainly meant business, Kylie Murphy took advantage of some sloppy defending to get the opening goal in the third minute, and six minutes later, Katrina Parrock, made it 2-0.

Ace goal scorer, Rianna Jarrett, scored her hatrick in a 10 minute spell to kill the game as a contest, her goals came in the 25th, 33rd, and 35th minutes.

Vanessa Ogbonna was introduced early in the second half; it took less than 10 minutes for her to open her account, 6-0.

Sylvia Dee pulled one back for the home side, a trerrific strike from the edge of the box, in the 66th minute.

An easy win for Wexford, second in the table, on goal difference, although Peamount have a game in hand as well, they have a home game against Kilkenny next Saturday at 6.30pm.
