Riverchapel playground to start in April

Great public reaction from a recent meeting in the Taravie Hotel, Courtown concerning Riverchapel Community Complex.
Fine Gael candidate in the forthcoming Local Elections, Elaine Clarke told WexfordToday.com; “The good news is the building of the playground will start next month.”
A working group are going to organise a Street Feast for Sunday, May 5th and helpers on the day or any suggestions are welcome and will be considered.
Ms Clarke said; “A major concern though is that we still do not have a community centre. The District Manager wants to spend €197,000 on a coffee dock at the harbour north pier, but as a community we need to stop this huge waste of money and have it re-allocated to the building fund for the community centre.”
Petitions are being organised in the Riverchapel-Courtown area in an effort to hasten the provision of a community centre in the North Wexford seaside community.
