Fatal road collision on N30 near Clonroche

Gardaí at Enniscorthy are investigating a two-vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at 7.25 am this morning at Ballymackessey, approximately two kilometres on the Enniscorthy side of Clonroche village.
A male driver (only occupant) in his 50s was fatally injured when his van was in collision with a truck.
The male driver (only occupant) of the truck was uninjured.
The deceased has been removed to University Hospital in Waterford where a post mortem examination will take place. The local Coroner has been notified
The road is currently closed to facilitate a Garda forensic examination, local diversions are in place.
