Enniscorthy in All-Ireland final on Saturday

Enniscorthy RFC bid to win their third All-Ireland Junior Cup on Saturday

This season’s All-Ireland Junior Cup decider will be an all-Leinster affair, as Enniscorthy RFC face Ashbourne RFC, in the final, in Edenderry, at 2.30pm, on Saturday afternoon.

The Wexford side bid to win the cup for the third time, having won it in 2014 and 2016. Ashbourne are going for three in a row, as they have won the competition for the last two years, having beaten Enniscorthy in the 2017 decider, on a scoreline of 22-20.

Dan Walsh paid a visit to Enniscorthy’s training session at the Ross Road, and spoke to the manager of the team, David Wrafter, coach, Kieran Hurrell, and players David Murphy and Richard Dunne.
