Local horses sell at Doncaster this afternoon

James Doyle's, Borris winner, was a £60,000 purchase, for Lucinda Russell.

The Goffs UK January Sale took place today in Doncaster, the catalogue comprised horses in training and point-to-pointers, and several local trainers brought horses across the water.

Colin Bowe’s, Eclair Des Sablons (FR), proved best of the locals, the Tinahely winner, was knocked down to Katy Price for £64,000.

Kieran Roche’s, Sopat (IRE), a 6yo mare, won her Boulta maiden by a distance, her younger half sister, the black- typed, Silver Forever, holds a Cheltenham bumper entry, and Phil Middleton had to go to £62,000 to secure the daughter Gold Well (IRE),

James Doyle’s, Borris winner, Lucky Flight (FR), and Colin Bowe’s, Streets Of Fire (IRE), both realised £60,000 each.
