Margaret steps down after 27 years of GAA

Chairman of Wexford GAA County Board Derek Kent makes a presentation to Margaret Doyle who has stepped down after 27 years as County Secretary.

Many tributes have been paid to Wexford GAA County Board secretary Margaret Doyle who has retired from her role after 27 years of sterling and dedication administration.
A member of the St Mary’s club in Rosslare, Margaret will be remembered as an outstanding County Board officer who paved the way for greater female involvement in GAA administration.
Margaret will be succeeded in the full-time role by Gearoid Devitt, who was the GAA’s Player Welfare Officer up until recently.
